Social Networking Sites (SNS) is a hot topic recently, but SNS is officially a social networking service, and it means all exchange services such as Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook. However, IT technology is rapidly progressing, and new services and apps are born one after another, so it is actually difficult to define a clear definition.

On the other hand, the Internet is a general term for network technology that connects a large number of computers to communicate information. In the most familiar example, the Internet is the technology used to view search engines such as Google and Yahoo, and websites that have been searched. Other services based on the Internet include e-mail (E-mail), IP phone with 050 number, and P2P represented by Skype.

In other words, SNS is “one of the services that can be realized using technology called the Internet”. If you interpret SNS as “the networking part is the Internet,” it will be easy to understand. First of all, there is an amazing technology called the Internet, and the popularization of personal computers and smartphones, and a service that revitalizes people’s communication has appeared.
